Does mental illness exist, read on please, anybody studying psych???
k am a psychology college student trying to write a paper about whether mental illness exists and whether it's a biological or societal thing, and i still don't know what my stance on it is, regardless of my 2 years of research. in the brain or influenced by society? or both? i mean look at it this way - hitler was a demon, but why? due to some oedipus complexe (but then that would be forginvg and giving a reason) ? see what i mean?
Mental illness absolutely exists. Some are biological, other's are not..it all depends on the specific illness.
